The bed-in-bed system

The ECO BIB bed-in-bed system offers the comfort and functionality of a care bed while allowing you to use your familiar bed. It is ideal for people who do not want to do without their own bed.

Delivery time: to the curb: approx. 12 working days

We can hire a local moving company near your home to transport the nursing bed from the curb to your room, according to your wishes.

This solution is significantly more cost-effective than the standard home delivery service, which usually costs an additional €200 from many care bed providers.

The care bed weighs approximately 80 kg, but can also be transported by one person if the package is opened and the parts are carried individually. As shown in the video below, the components are easy to transport and assemble.

Characteristics:

• The BiB system can be used in any existing bed frame.
• It has a 4-part steel strip lying surface with mattress guides on the head and foot sections.
• It is suitable for mattress sizes of 90 x 190 cm, 90 x 200 cm, 100 x 190 cm and 100 x 200 cm.
• The electrical height adjustment ranges from 360 mm to 800 mm.
• The maximum permissible patient weight is 185 kg, the safe working load is 220 kg.
• The electrically adjustable backrest can be tilted up to an angle of 70°.
• The thigh rest can be tilted up to 30° to enable an individual comfortable position for the patient.
• The BiB system is easy to clean and can be adapted to different bed sizes without any accessories.
• All steel parts are painted in RAL 9023 (pearl dark gray).

Additional features

• The foot elevation can be adjusted mechanically in 5 different positions.
• The system stands on 4 feet, but alternatively 4 castors with individual wheel locks can also be used.
• For safety there is a 24 volt power supply.
• The hand switch has first error protection and a locking function.
• The system has a protection class of IPX 4.

OPTIONS:

• The patient lifter is suitable for patients up to 80 kg.
• There is an integrated reading light.
• Under-bed lighting is available and is activated by a motion detector.
