Rollator Walker Saljol Carbon product detail video
Product features:
Foldable lengthwise with one hand, the 22 cm wide Saljol Carbon Rollator Walker can then be stored space-savingly. With the integrated tipping aids on both sides, located at the end of the frame at the height of the rear wheels, curbs can be easily overcome. The particularly shock- and vibration-damping wheels compensate well for unevenness, e.g., on cobblestones. Your wrists and shoulders will thank you.
For more grip on gravel or meadows, the pronounced tread of the soft Super Soft All-Terrain tires on your Saljol Carbon Rollator Walker provides excellent traction. Smooth in the middle of the tread with strong braking power and profiled on the edges for more stability and lateral support on soft ground. They are sized so that dirt does not get stuck and carried inside. They leave a good impression because the tread contains the flower elements of the SALJOL logo. Since soft and non-slip tires, like your car's winter tires, wear out more easily, tire replacement is very easy and completely safe with two screws.
The 28 reflector points ensure that the Saljol Rollator Walker is visible from every direction in traffic at night.
Nobly coordinated, with the carbon structure visible on the frame, the cognac-colored synthetic leather on the bag, and the hypoallergenic and skin-friendly natural cork material used on the shock-absorbing ergonomically shaped handles. The cork handle also provides a good grip even with wet hands. When muscle strength decreases, the walker simply sits on the soft carbon Rollator Walker seat. This way, your personal bench is perfect and always with you.
The one-hand grip bag is made of high-quality materials and features a transparent compartment for your smartphone on the top of the lid, so you always have your navigation system within reach. The flap made of synthetic leather closes with a magnet and can be operated with one hand, while the other securely rests on the cork handle of the Rollator Walker. On the sides, you will find nets for drinks or your newspaper. The inside of the bag is bright and equipped with three additional compartments for organizing and shopping. Place the handles in the bag while driving for optimal protection.
Individual, for your needs
- The handles are individually adjustable in nine increments to your size. Up to a support height of 103 cm.
- To adjust the height of the handles, simply turn two screws.
- The ideal height for your size is reached when your wrist forms a level with the handle.
One of the safest Rollator Walkers in the world!
- Four reflectors on the back ensure that you are always well visible even in the dark.
- Each wheel is equipped with reflective rims. The easily accessible hand brakes allow for quick and safe braking.
- By pressing the brakes downwards, the parking brake is activated. This prevents rolling away on uneven surfaces.
Thoughtful accessories included
The bag with faux leather application is rainproof and contains a compartment at the top where you can store, for example, your mobile phone or wallet waterproof. Do you sometimes have trouble finding the things stored in your bag? That can no longer happen with this bag, thanks to the bright lining and three separate compartments.
Gear shift: Walk safely downhill

For more rolling resistance on the rear wheels!
The carbon Rollator Walker comes standard with the gear shift with foot pedal. This means you can set an individual rolling resistance via the push brake. To do this, you simply press lightly with your foot on the red lever on the rear wheels or push it upwards, allowing you to turn the rolling resistance on or off. With the gear shift on the rear wheels, the walking speed can thus be reduced.
Safe and useful when going downhill or with neurological diseases where the Saljol Carbon Rollator Walker tends to be pushed forward. The gear shift is useful for all users for whom the Rollator Walker becomes too fast.
The simple operation is done via two red foot pedals, which are attached to the right and left next to the rear wheel. Similar to an engine brake when going downhill and shifting down to the next lower gear, the gear shift on the two rear wheels brakes your carbon Rollator Walker. It takes over part of the guidance and helps you safely go downhill.
When going uphill, the rider is safely supported by the light weight and the gear shift. It assists like a hill-start assist in modern cars to prevent rolling backward.
In rain and wet weather, the brakes tend to "slip"! The SALJOL Rollator Walker gear shift works independently of the weather and offers, for example, an additional safety brake in wet conditions.
Our encourager Mr. Peter Spendler on the gear shift:
"I often stumble due to foot drop and feel quite insecure, especially on downhill paths. The Rollator Walker's drag brake helps me a lot when going downhill because I can reduce my walking speed with it and feel much safer. Like a gearshift, I can easily turn it on and off with my foot. Great!"
Rollator Walker Tires
Carbon Rollator Walkers have special tires that come very close to the comfort of pneumatic tires while still being puncture-proof. Here, shocks are absorbed and not directly transferred to the hands. This results in less muscle soreness in the upper extremities. In addition, special cork push handles also prevent transmission and thus provide additional relief.
Areas of Use
Pushing and Supporting
Are your handles at wrist height? Are your elbows slightly pulled back when pushing? When pushing and supporting, it is important that you set the Carbon Rollator Walker as upright as possible when adjusting the correct height of the cork handles. If it "wobbles" or you feel slightly dizzy, you can support yourself on the push handles. The Rollator Walker can support up to 150 kg, and the non-slip handles provide a secure grip even for anxious Rollator Walker users.
Different Paths and Roads
The Saljol Carbon Rollator Walker is suitable for daily use indoors and outdoors. Thanks to the double-layer rubber coating, it runs much more smoothly on asphalt than its relatives. On unpaved paths, its soft tires absorb shocks as efficiently as pneumatic tires.
In rain and wet conditions, brakes tend to "slip"! The Saljol gearshift works independently of the weather and offers, for example, an additional safety brake when wet.
Sitting and Resting
"Grandpa's" justified excuses against the "longer walk" would now be invalid. The soft wheels absorb the bumps on the unpleasant bumpy path, the cork handle offers a good grip even with wet hands. And when muscle strength decreases, the walker simply takes a seat on the soft Rollator Walker seat. This way, the personal park bench is perfect and always with you.
For a raised seating feeling and more safety, Saljol recommends the adjustable and snug back strap.
Shopping
For the necessary independence and motivation to walk, a sensibly and safely equipped Rollator Walker can help to complete the weekly shopping - often THE place for social contacts.
Older people often have poor eyesight. So why not make the lining of the removable shopping bag brighter?
Going Downhill
Imagine the following situation: You have a walking disability. You are going down a sloping ramp with a full shopping basket in your Rollator Walker! At the beginning of the ramp, you pull the brake, but you have to release it again and again... the Rollator Walker pulls you downhill....
The Saljol gear shift helps ease the situation! Similar to engine braking when driving downhill in a car and downshifting to the next lower gear, the gear shift on the two rear wheels brakes the carbon Rollator Walker. It essentially takes on part of the load of the Rollator Walker and helps you safely drive downhill.
Uphill Driving
When going uphill, the user is optimally supported by the low weight of only 5.6 kg and the innovative drag brake. The drag brake ensures that the Rollator Walker remains easy to control at all times, even on steep inclines.
The so-called "gear shift" is not a classic gear shift like on a bicycle, but a mechanism that regulates the drag brake. It allows the braking force to be adjusted individually so that the Rollator Walker remains safe and stable. Similar to a hill-start assist in modern cars, this function prevents the Rollator Walker from sliding backward when stopping or moving forward slowly. This provides not only a high level of safety but also comfort and reliability for the user.
Overcoming Curbs and Thresholds
To minimize risk and make overcoming curbs and thresholds easier, Saljol has integrated extra-flat tipping aids on the rear wheels, ergonomically reachable by the feet. The distance the foot has to travel is minimal, making it safer than conventional Rollator Walkers. By the way: Our customers are thrilled at how easily the Rollator Walker straightens up when you "step" on the tipping aid.
Public Transport
Bringing Rollator Walkers on public transport is allowed. However, the Rollator Walker may not be used as a seat on the bus. We recommend placing the carbon Rollator Walker on the multipurpose area of the bus with the parking brake engaged and finding a seat facing the opposite direction of travel.
Tip! With a folded size of only 22 cm, it doesn’t take up much space and can also be placed next to you.
By the way: The safest way to get off is backwards, with one hand on the bus and the other on the Rollator Walker.
Parking and Loading
Simply press down the two easy-to-use brake handles on the left and right of the handle. The Rollator Walker stands securely in place.
For car transport, Saljol recommends folding the carbon fiber Rollator Walker to 22 cm width. This way, it fits even in the smallest trunk.
Travel
The compact size of the Saljol Carbon Rollator Walker invites travel. It is quickly set up and packed away. When traveling by car, please make sure to secure the Rollator Walker well and do not stack heavy objects on the carbon frame.
Tip! Inform the airline about bringing your Rollator Walker. Most airlines allow you to bring your Rollator Walker free of charge.
At home
93% of elderly people live in their own homes. The house or apartment is often very cramped. The Rollator Walker must be maneuvered in very tight spaces. Rollator Walker in one hand, opening the door with the other – it is safer to have a stable and agile indoor Rollator Walker like the indoor Rollator Walker available.
