A big advantage of the wedge seat is that the distance between the seat and the buttocks is not that large. This means that the thigh muscles are not put under as much strain when sitting down and safety is increased when moving downwards.

Rotatable and non-slip in one: a swivel bathroom stool
The spa shower stool has four wheels. They are not used to push the round stool around. They are arranged in such a way that the shower stool can only rotate in place. To get into the shower, you can lean safely on the shower stool without slipping. While showering, you can easily turn to the shower tap, shower gel and shampoo.
The wheels are made of extra non-slip material TPE. Saljol offers you high slip resistance and still 360 degrees of freedom of movement.
The rotatability makes it easier for you to wash as you can turn all around. The shower stool is also a relief for relatives who help you shower. For example, the person helping can wash the showerer's back by turning the stool without having to get into the shower themselves. The person helping remains dry.
Stability
At Saljol, stability and therefore your safety comes first. That's why the shower stool is available in powdered steel or elegant stainless steel. The Saljol design shower stools are available in 3 sizes. We have consciously decided against adjusting the size in order to offer you the greatest possible stability and safety. The seat, on the other hand, is adjustable in 3 levels and can be adapted to the shape of your buttocks.
Always a warm seat
A highlight and a very appreciated feature is the seat made of EPP. EPP is a thermoplastic with a special property: it reflects body heat. This means the seat always feels warm - in contrast to simple plastic seats.
EPP also has the advantage that it does not absorb water. Mold formation is prevented.
Waterproof
This feature should be a given in a shower stool. But only a few shower stools offer a completely closed frame into which no water can penetrate. The Saljol shower stool has no holes or openings in which water can collect.
versatility
Although the Spa was designed as a shower stool, you can use it anywhere in the bathroom. Since it doesn't look like a classic plastic shower stool with its great design, you don't have to hide it. The origins of the Saljol shower stool
As with all Saljol products, there is a personal story behind the development of the spa shower stool. Bärbel B., the mother of Saljol's founder and managing director, became too weak to stand in the shower for long and shower herself. So a nurse took care of her. However, she became increasingly unkempt - even her nose was noticeable.
Showering is a fundamental right
When asked, Bärbel B. told her son that showering was very unpleasant for her. She more or less has to get up and the nurse simply showers her. It quickly became clear that this was not a dignified situation.
The solution: the spa shower stool
So Thomas Appel sat down with the Saljol team and developed the spa. Since then, Bärbel B. has been able to shower independently again without any problems - even without outside help.
