There are no known contraindications that limit the use of the inhaler.
Exchange of the filter
Replacing the air filter regularly is necessary to ensure optimal performance of the compressor.
We therefore recommend checking the filter regularly. Replace as needed if gray, brown, or wet. To do this, you must open the lid of the air filter compartment. Only replace the filter with new original filters. Dirty filters must be disposed of.
Cleaning and care
Thoroughly clean all accessories after each treatment to remove any medication residue and possible contamination. Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the device.
Cleaning the compressor
The compressor housing can be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Under no circumstances should you expose the compressor to water or heat.
Cleaning and disinfection of accessories
Always wash your hands thoroughly before cleaning and disinfecting accessories. Use a new air hose to treat each new patient or in the event of contamination.
The air hose can be cleaned with a clean, damp cloth. Wash all inhaler accessories (except the air tube) under warm tap water for approximately 5 minutes; If necessary, use some dishwashing liquid and follow the dishwashing liquid manufacturer's instructions. Rinse all parts thoroughly; make sure all debris has been washed off and allow all parts to dry.
The accessories (except masks and air hose) can be cleaned and disinfected by boiling them in plenty of water (min. 5 minutes). Make sure that the accessories do not come into contact with the bottom of the pot. Then allow all parts to dry thoroughly.
All inhaler accessories (except the air tube) can be disinfected with chemical disinfectants; follow the instructions of the disinfectant manufacturer.
All inhaler accessories (except the air tube and masks) can be sterilized with hot steam; up to 121 °C (20 min.) or up to 134 °C (7 min.). EN554/ISO11134. The sterilization package must comply with EN868/ISO11607 and be suitable for steam sterilization. After sterilization, always allow all accessories to cool to ambient temperature before using them again. Do not repeat the sterilization process if the accessories are still warm.
